Do you offer storage for liquid bulk?

Yes, Manuport Liquids can store containers and tanks at our depot. We also have land tanks for bulk storage and can store drums or IBCs in our warehouse: get in touch.

Do you offer door-to-door services for international liquid shipments?

Yes, we do. We have an inhouse customs team with experts, specialized in customs clearance and forwarding. Contact us for more information.

Do you ship hazardous liquid products?

Yes, we do. We have the option to ship hazardous liquid products, as well as the declaration to the Port Authority. Reach out for more information.

What if I need time-critical air freight for liquid products?

Is the valve connection the same for ISO tanks and flexitanks?

Yes, both have a standard 3" male valve connection. The difference is that flexitanks use a camlock connection, while ISO tanks use a Guillemin connection. Get in contact with our experts.

Can you ship dangerous goods in a flexitank?

No, it’s forbidden to load dangerous goods in a flexitank. These can be shipped in ISO tanks, drums, IBCs, etc. Get in contact with our experts.

What’s the maximum loading temperature for a flexitank?

Our standard flexitanks can be loaded up to 60°C. We also offer high-temperature flexitanks suitable for up to 90°C or 120°C, depending on the product.

Can you heat a flexitank?

Yes, we can use heater pads placed under the flexitank (these must be installed during fitting). If no heater pads are available, we can place the container in a hot room to heat the product.

What flexitank sizes are available?

Manuport Liquids offers flexitanks ranging from 15,000 to 26,000 liters. Get in contact with our experts.

What happens in case of an incident with a flexitank?

We have a worldwide network of surveyors and well-trained staff ready to act immediately in case of any incident.

What is the filling rate for a flexitank?

Flexitanks should be loaded to their maximum capacity, with a tolerance of approximately ±500 liters. Get in contact with our experts.

ISO tanks

Can we load 30,000 liters in an ISO tank?

No, the largest ISO tank capacity is 26,000L. Larger sizes are available in swap bodies, but these are only suitable for road transport. Get in contact with our experts.

What is the filling rate for an ISO tank?

We follow the 20/80 rule as a standard: tanks should be loaded with less than 20% or more than 80% of their capacity, with a maximum of 95%. This rule originates from dangerous goods regulations but is generally applied to all cargoes. Get in touch!

Can you load food-grade products in any ISO tank?

No, we have a dedicated fleet of food-grade tanks and a separate fleet for chemicals. Once a tank has carried chemicals, it can never be used for food-grade products again. Contact us to ship food-grade goods or chemicals.
